Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Yippito (“we”, “us”) for using yippito.com and the Yippito quiz platform. By creating an account, or by signing in with Google, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of these terms.
Who can use Yippito
You need to be at least 13 years old to create an account. Players who join a live game with a PIN do not need an account and are not bound by these terms; the person hosting the game is responsible for running it appropriately for the people in the room.
Your account
- Keep your password private. Everything done from your account is treated as done by you, so tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
- Give us a real email address. We use it to confirm the account, to let you reset your password, and to tell you about important changes to the service.
- One person, one account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings; this removes your quizzes and uploaded media.
Your content
The quizzes, questions, and media you create or upload stay yours. You give us the permission we need to store them, show them to the players you invite, and process them with AI features you choose to use. You are responsible for having the right to use anything you upload, and for making sure your content does not break the law, infringe someone else’s rights, or harass people.
AI-generated content
Yippito can draft questions from a topic, your notes, a web page, a PDF or a YouTube transcript. The result is a starting point, not a fact-checked source. Review generated questions before you host them; we are not responsible for mistakes in AI output you choose to publish.
Acceptable use
Do not use Yippito to:
- send spam, scrape the service, or interfere with games you are not hosting;
- attempt to bypass game fairness, rate limits, or security controls;
- upload malware, illegal material, or content that targets or demeans individuals;
- resell the service or present it as your own.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, and remove content that does.
The service
Yippito is currently free while in beta. We may add paid plans later; if we do, nothing you already created will be taken away, and you will be told before any charge applies. We work hard to keep Yippito available, but it is provided “as is” and we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Yippito grows. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where it matters, email account holders. Continuing to use Yippito after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be handled by the courts there, without affecting the consumer rights you have where you live.
